Documentation for eth_defi.vault_report.charts.plain_text function.

plain_text(text)

Escape external text, such as vault names, for Plotly text.

Plotly reads <b>, <br> and other tags in text as markup, and decodes HTML entities, so an escaped name is shown exactly as written.

Parameters

text (str) – Text from the vault data, e.g. a vault name set by its deployer.

Returns

Text with &, < and > escaped.

Return type

str
